What instrumentation is in The Tiffany Hanus Jazz Trio?
Our most common configuration is voice, upright bass and your choice of guitar or piano. That said, we are happy to include any instrumentation you like! We also play as a duo (voice and guitar or piano) or quartet (voice, guitar or piano, upright bass and drums). Instrumental jazz combos (without voice) are also available.
Does the band provide the sound system?
Yes, we provide a sound system which we tailor to suit your venue and the number of guests in attendance.
Will the band take set breaks?
Yes, typically the band will take a set break of 10 minutes for every 50 minutes of performing. That said, we are flexible and will certainly coordinate our breaks in such a way that will best suit the overall scheduling and flow of your event.
Will the band take special song requests?
Our repertoire consists of an expansive list of classic jazz standards and swing tunes. We will send you our ever-growing set list. We are also happy to learn specific song requests (made at least 2 months prior to event) for special moments, such as ceremony, first dance, etc.
When will the musicians set-up their equipment?
We arrive and set-up to play approx. one hour prior to performance unless otherwise requested.
Does the band have performers liability insurance?
Yes we do! We are insured for up to two million dollars. Many establishments require the entertainment to have insurance in order to perform at the venue.
What do I need to do to confirm a booking?
We ask for a 25% deposit along with a signed contract.
What do you need from me?
• A 5X7 ft. or larger performance area
• One electrical outlet
• One armless chair
